Over 25 Years of Quality Healthcare
Madison Women’s clinic has been a quality standard of women’s healthcare in the community since 1994. It began with a promise to deliver quality care for all women, as they grow through each phase of life. Madison Women’s Clinic continues to build upon those timely values of integrity, compassion and excels in providing state of the art care.
Today, the clinic is owned by Doctor Edward Evans. He could not do it without the additional help from Dr. Matthew Allred, Nurse Midwife Toni Frahm and Family Nurse Practitioner, Fay Call. We have increased our services from our early beginnings; we offer many in house procedures, ultrasounds, midwifery, osteopathic adjustments and much more. With two locations to serve you, quality care is easier than ever, with Madison Women’s Clinic.

Matt Allred, DO
Dr. Matthew Allred grew up in Bountiful, Utah. After graduating from the University of Utah, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Louis University in Missouri, where he served as chief resident.
During residency, Dr. Allred developed a sensitivity to endometriosis and pelvic pain disorders. His career evolved into advocacy for women suffering from these conditions, focusing on endometriosis excision through Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Driven by patient need, he has refined his expertise to address complex cases, particularly for women who have experienced chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, and pain with intercourse. Dr. Allred’s “Endometriosis/Pelvic Pain Questionnaire” has guided hundreds of patients toward pain relief, hope, and empowerment.
A specialist in robotic surgery, Dr. Allred uses this advanced technology to enhance the precision of endometriosis excision, enabling meticulous dissection and identification of endometriosis implants. In addition to endometriosis, he gained extensive experience in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, hysterectomy, bladder hydrodistension, and urinary incontinence treatments.
Beyond his surgical practice, Dr. Allred cherishes the continuity of care as an OB/GYN. He finds joy in delivering babies and providing ongoing care through annual wellness exams, screenings, and contraceptive counseling.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Allred’s life is enriched by his wife Chrissy and their four wonderful children. He enjoys making videos for his YouTube channel, ABC Allred Family. He draws inspiration from music and healthy living, and admits to being a video-gamer when time permits. He also shares his expertise by teaching for the ABC OB/GYN Test Prep Course, helping other physicians pass their medical boards.
In the community, Dr. Allred is well-known for his festive “Halloween House,” summer chalk art, and winter ice igloos. He also feels privileged to have served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Uruguay, where he learned the Spanish language which improved his ability to care for our Spanish-speaking patients.

Many members of our community and dear patients have commented on the tremendous impact that Dr. John Allred made in the lives of those who knew him. When Dr. John Allred joined our practice in 2002, we learned quickly that he intended to be the best doctor that he could be and made good on that desire every day. After practicing at Madison Women’s Clinic for 21 years, Dr. John Allred received devastating news of a terminal diagnosis of ALS in September 2023. By the end of that week, Dr. Allred retired from practicing medicine so that he could spend his remaining days with family and friends and care for his deteriorating health.
Dr. John Allred passed away from his battle with ALS on February 29th, 2024. The outpouring of support from our community has been overwhelming and we sincerely appreciate this, especially on behalf of Dr. Allred’s family. It has been truly amazing to see the effect that one person can have when they are dedicated to serving others. It is our sincere hope that Dr. John Allred’s memory lives on in our community. His profound sense of purpose and life’s priorities truly changed thoughts and behaviors wherever he went. If we remember all the good that people like Dr. Allred bring to our lives, we limit the loss that we feel when they move on. We are enriched and blessed, even though he has passed.
